Hellyer Wind Farm Environmental and planning approvals

The Hellyer Wind Farm, proposed for northern Tasmania, is in the early stages of planning. ERA has been engaged to provide planning and environmental services, including lodging a Notice of Intent (NOI) and referral under the Commonwealth Environment Protection Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.

ERA has also assisted Epuron in securing planning approval for meteorological masts, advised on early stage specialist studies (e.g. eagle survey), and provided general planning advice to assist in navigating the regulatory system.

We acknowledge and respect Tasmanian Aboriginal people as the Traditional Owners of Lutruwita (Tasmania).

They are the original custodians of our land and waters. We respect their unique ability to care for country and deep spiritual connection to it.

We honour Elders past, present and emerging whose knowledge and wisdom has and will ensure the continuation of culture and traditional practices.
